You have the right to cancel within 14-days of accepting my quote. The Client must notify me before the cancellation period ends. If a deposit has been paid, it is fully refundable during the 14-days cooling-off period. After the cancellation period, the deposit is non-refundable unless the work is rescheduled within 8 weeks. Any deposits held will be used to offset these costs.
My site visit and written quote is not a building survey and I can’t be held responsible for any work not included in the accepted quote. Unless specifically mentioned in the quote, no allowance has been made for any re plastering under wallpapered walls or ceilings. It is assumed that such surfaces are in good condition and suitable for the specified treatment. Any repairs of defects that are not visible at the time of quote will be charged at an hourly rate, unless an allowance for such work was included in the quote.
I will take every precaution to ensure that any vulnerable items left in the work area are carefully covered or masked up. However, there will always be a small risk of over spill or dust getting past these precautions. In the rare event of accidents I will do my upmost to ensure that it is satisfactorily cleaned up.
I will provide all the necessary trade paints and decorating materials unless otherwise agreed. These materials will always be of a high quality and used according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Unfortunately I can’t guarantee the quality of paint, materials or wallcoverings you supply yourself.
If you request changes to the work I may need to revise the quote. Significant changes could also affect timescales and completion dates. If I am unable to provide an accurate revised cost, The Client agrees any additional work will be charged at an hourly rate.
On the last day of work, the Client will need to be available for a final inspection. If you are not available, I will assume you’re happy with the work and full payment will be due. Any issues with the work must be brought to my attention within 48 hours of completion of the work.
All accounts are to be settled upon completion of work. I can accept bank transfers or cash payment however cheques are no longer accepted. If your payment is later than 7 days, an interest charge may be applied. Failure to settle your account in a timely manner will lead to court proceedings and additional charges.

Sometimes, things can happen that are outside of my control. Supply chain problems, illness or work over runs can lead to unforeseen delays. If there are delays, I will give you as much notice as possible and work to reschedule as quickly as possible. The Client agrees that I will not be liable for additional costs they might incur due to such delays.
